Bluff Master

About the show

This game show exposes the ability of the players to cheat, lie and deceive in order to win a large sum of money. One of the six participants in each episode is pre-designated as a Bluff Master. Nobody else, including the host, know who the Bluff Master is. The Bluff Master can secretly see all the answers to the questions on the game show, thereby getting a huge edge over all other participants.

If any of the honest players want to win, they must expose the Bluff Master. This is done through a vote at the end of each round. In the end, if the players and the audience fail to spot the Bluff Master, he/she takes home all the money. If not, then the last honest player gets the prize.

The questions asked on the show are whacky and humourous. For each question, the players must come up with one of the 10 most popular responses for that question. The most common response carries the least amount of money, the most uncommon, the most. The cheater has a list of all the 10 responses in front of him that only he is privy to, and can choose what answer he wants to give, without making any of the other players suspicious.

Throughout the show, all players categorically deny that they are the Bluff Master. It is through game play, accusations and defense arguments that the real Bluff Master is caught or manages to escape suspicion. The participants not only have to play the game, but also act convincingly in order to finally win the money.

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai

About the show

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai is a sitcom set in a quintessential Malabar Hill family. Sahil, the protagonist, is a cosmetic surgeon, a guy with a golden heart who can never say ‘no’ and gets caught between his mom and wife. Monisha, Sahil’s wife, is a middle class girl, is a ‘nosey’ daughter of a detective.

Sahil’s father, Indravadan, is a retired director of a multinational company and is really a child at heart. He often plays Narad Muni between his ‘uppity’ wife and bahu. Sahil’s mom, Maya, likes only the crème de la crème in every aspect of her life and her family. Her bone of contention - daughter-in-law, Monisha, who is middle class.

Roshesh, Sahil’s younger brother, is a mama’s boy, a wannabe actor who is waiting for his mom to find the right bride. Sonya is Sahil’s sister. She is deeply into tarot.

Set in this dysfunctional family, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai is a classic comedy that brings together veterans Satish Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah with Sumeet Raghavan and Rupali Ganguli.

Dil Kya Chahta Hai

About the show

It is an urban take on life of four guys who are very close friends. The show explores their friendship, problems they face and how they tackle it in a funny, light hearted way.

Ram is the rich playboy and Nitin is the nerd, Akki is the cool RJ while Raghu is a struggling theatre actor. All four guys don’t have much in common except love for each other.

It deals with issues related to their life, dreams, relationships, shortcomings, money and girls who form an integral part of the show and their life as well.

The show is about the urban male, how they think, their conflicts, desires and life in general. It’s a laugh riot as all of them try to solve each other’s problems and everybody thinks he’s perfect in whatever he does.

It’s a feel good, funny and loving tale of these four guys exploring life in their own way.

Listen! this is a modern day horror that any person can relate to. They look like any normal person on the street, we don’t realise, until… This is a world where even everyday objects like Cellphone, a laptop, the lift, or even a paper can turn into objects of terror!

Darna Mana Hai was one of the most acclaimed movies in the paranormal/fear genre. Original in its concept, it had six stories with ‘that twist in the tale’ at the end of each story. Darna Mana Hai - the Series on STAR One, is based on this concept!

The series, is short movies for television where each story will be split into three half hour episodes. The personality of the series is very Roald Dahl like. The story progresses at a clip and has immense intrigue value. At certain points, the audience is sure that it has the answers, has figured out the story. But, the ‘end’ when it comes, is always a flip, completely unexpected.

Watch out, everything here is original! But remember… Darna Mana Hai!

India Calling

About the Show

Set against the backdrop of a leading call center, India Calling is the story about Chandni, a young town girl from Jalandhar. She has an older sister - Manisha Kapur who is in Mumbai. Chandni stays with her beeji and parents Meera and Ranjit Kapur. It so happens that this simple, but confident girl lands up at Mumbai in search of her sister.

The fast pace of city life and the hep crowd are something new to her! Circumstances also force her to a job at India Calling, a leading call centre owned by Aditya. Aditya is the city slicker, the snob whose grandpa, Virender Khanna owns the call centre. He has an elder brother, Vishesh who is married to Kamini. The story then takes us through Chandni’s life at India Calling and her relationship with Aditya.

There are also some key characters at the call centre like Prashant (team leader), Varun, Smitha, Kabir, Reshma, Namrata, ‘Taxi’ Patil (driver) and Tyson (the security head) who will spice up and give a realistic picture of the organization.
