Super Sale is a game of strategy, a game in which knowledge, nerve, speed and gamesmanship are cleverly combined to create a steadily rising level of excitement. The show tests basic general knowledge and is sure to appeal to any viewer that enjoys testing themselves and playing the game at home. At the end of the show ‘the Champion’ wins the opportunity to buy high value goods at crazy low prices!

Different goods ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 5,00,000 are available at prices from Rs 45 onwards. Depending on the money won by the ‘the Champion’, they have the opportunity to choose from the different goods available at different levels.

Each episode begins with 3 contestants who compete through the various stages to become ‘the Champion’ of the day. There are carefully placed opportunities for them to buy/win a huge variety of prizes (eg: Gift Shop/ Mein Kaun Hoon etc) during this game play.

An interesting twist comes in when ‘the Champion’ is given the opportunity to risk the goods of the day, to return and play with new contestants the following day, where he/she has a chance to win more money and add it to the previous days winnings in order to buy goods of higher values.

About the show

The story is set in an elite school that is an institution for the kids of the rich and the famous. The school also entertains scholarship students, who come from the poorer section of the society. The story revolves around the students, their lives, their insecurities, friendships, rivalries and ambitions.

Tia, Anvesha, Yuvi and Ranveer, the four main characters, would rather have very little to do with each other. Hailing from different backgrounds, all of them seem to have their priorities worked out and prefer to follow their own path towards fulfilling their ambitions. But destiny has another trail set for them. Circumstances force them to come together and through a series of dramatic twists and turns, the four form a music group and become the singing sensation of the decade.

The story also brings into play various other elements that shape the destiny of the four protagonists and the various other students, teachers and parents who form a bond with this elitist school. Touching upon the socio-economic divide, peer pressure, teenage dilemmas and other growing-up pangs, the show attempts to empathize with the adolescent in his quest for freedom.

Instant Khichdi

Hansa and Prafull are even madder, Bhavesh Kumar, hungrier, Jayashree, funnier and Babuji, angrier. The characters of Instant Khichdi are a part of a typical joint family. However, this family has one thing that makes it distinct - they are funny. They laugh and make others laugh. This does not mean that they are bumbling idiots who scream shout and scamper like nitwits to create humour. They are real people with real problems and real idiosyncrasies.

This is a funny bunch of people that is firmly united in their movement to get separated. They wanted to sell off their ancestral property and move out and form their own nuclear families. But the head of the family did not agree. He gave them the choice to walk out, but on their own steam and nobody was ready to let go of such prime property. So they stayed together and waited for Babuji to change his mind or stop breathing, whichever happened first.

They later shifted to their Mami’s house as per her last wish. And that is where our upwardly mobile, middle class joint family faced its trails and tribulations in life. They now discover oil in their old property and suddenly become one of the super rich family. They live in there own illusionary world as they have no clue about the lifestyle of the super rich families.

Avinash Mehrotra is a snooty, Harvard-returned MBA. Love, women and marriage are the last thing on his mind at the moment.

Meenaxi Pillai is a pretty Malayalee girl with expressive eyes. A classical dancer and a school teacher by profession, she is simple, level headed, cultured and intelligent. A strong-willed girl, Minu believes in calling a spade a spade, and can be quite short-tempered at times.

They are diametrically opposite to each other.

Despite this, a tarot card reader predicts convinces Avinash’s mother, Manali and Meenaxi’s father, Eshwaran Pillai that Minu and Avi would make a perfect couple.

To put their plan into motion, the parents clandestinely plan to go on a month-long cruise which according to the prediction would be the ideal place for their children to fall in love.
