A new future begins. After last season’s shocking finale, which left Piper, Phoebe and Paige for dead, the sisters return in undercover disguise as Julie, Jenny and Jo Bennet. Even as their father Victor hosts mourners at the manor, darker forces start taking an interest in it.
Paul Haas, a darkly handsome stranger, leads a new generation of demons in the Underworld, who aim to use the manor as their earthly headquarters. With the demons in charge of the Magic School and plotting for the final takeover of the earthly realm, the charmed ones soon find themselves helping the government and Homeland Security to save, not just their country, but the entire human realm, from evil.

Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano)
Phoebe Halliwell is the youngest child of Victor Bennett and Patty Halliwell. Phoebe was the carefree spirit who lived in New York before moving back to the Halliwell manor.
Phoebe is a spontaneous, free-spirited young woman. She is a romantic and a dreamer with a rich, poetic imagination. She has no fear of anyone or anything. She’ll try anything once, twice if she had a good time.
Phoebe was the Halliwell who actually activated the powers of the Charmed Ones, after discovering the Book of Shadows in the attic. Readily accepting her powers Phoebe grew into an excellent spell writer, creating potions, and knowing all about the Book of Shadows. Having powers and uniting with her sisters helped to give Phoebe a purpose in life - something she was sorely lacking.
Phoebe has the power of Premonition, which allows her to see into the past and the future. She is able to do this by touching particular objects that are related to the person or place she wants to find.
Phoebe finds love with the half-demon half-human, Cole, after lots of strife. However, after their marriage, her faith in his ability to remain good falters. And then Cole becomes the New Source and Phoebe is forced to confront him.
Piper Halliwell (Holly Marie Combs)
Piper Halliwell is the middle child of Patty Halliwell and Victor Bennett.
Piper, growing up, took on the role of peacemaker in the family. This is evident in the many mediations between Prue and Pheobe that she undertakes in an attempt to bring her sisters together.
She can be dedicated, driven, spontaneous, or cautious — whatever the situation calls and allows for. She is terribly big hearted and capable of great fellowship and devotion. She is the perfect chef. She has endless patience, considerable creativity and loads of energy.
Temporal Stasis was Piper’s first power, which gave her the ability to stop time from moving forwards with her hands. This power is affectionally labelled “freezing”. Soon, Piper’s powers will grow.
Piper is in love with Leo, a Whitelighter, but love between them is not allowed by the Elders. However, when the elders realize that the two are really meant for each other, they relent and Piper and Leo get married.
Paige Halliwell (Rose McGowan)
Piper and Phoebe’s long-lost half sister, Paige, is the result of an affair between their mother and her Whitelighter Sam.
Because the Elders strictly forbade witches and whitelighters to become involved, Patty feared for her daughter’s life and abandoned her at a church. Paige was adopted by a loving family and had a good childhood. Nevertheless, she began cutting classes and drinking heavily in high school.
It took her parents’ deaths in a car crash to get her to finally clean up her act. She turned her life around, quit drinking, went to college, and got a job in social services. Paige is excited when she finds out she has sisters, but apprehensive on learning she is a witch. Her impulsive and headstrong behavior make it a bit difficult to follow rules. Nevertheless, she accepts her role as a Charmed One, and even moves into the Manor.
Prue Halliwell (Shannen Doherty)
Prudence Halliwell (lovingly known as “Prue”), the oldest Charmed One, is the daughter of Victor Bennet and Patty Halliwell. As the eldest sister, Prue is the strongest and most protective, having spent much of her childhood keeping an eye on her sisters after their mother’s death.
Prue was working at an auction house but her dream was to become a photographer. A dream that came true for her.
Prue has the powers of Telekinesis and Astral Projection. Telekinesis is the power to move objects with your mind. Prue is able to move objects through her eyes as well by pointing. The power of Astral Projection allows her to project her image to another place. Her powers have become very useful for the Charmed.
Unfortunately, Prue’s brush with magic is short lived as she is killed by the Source who wants to break the Power of Three.
