About the Show

A uniquely designed half hour game show Mum Tum Aur Hum highlights the mother-child bond. The participating children are between the age group of 7-10 years. There are two teams of mother and child in every episode competing against each other.

The teams display their unique tuning, interpersonal communication skills and above all their emotional bond through three exciting rounds. Each one of the games played in these rounds is time bound, whether it’s the round of communication between the mother and child where the teams have to complete a set of multiple tasks, either the mom or the kid will be verbally directing the other to execute the task; then there is the buzzer round where the mother has to answer for the buzzer pressed by her kid who assumes his mom will have the answers.

The next round is a question answer round, which reveals how accurate a mother is about her child’s responses vis-à-vis the child’s preferences and dilemmas. Finally, in the last round, the winning team plays a physical game such as putting together a set of balls in a basket or finishing a puzzle etc.

The winner takes home the jackpot or the big payoff a foreign travel tour package. The show is anchored by Shruti Seth (Jia from Shararat) and is ably supported by her co-host Nanu - who is a clown in the show and is always the kid’s best friend on the show.
