Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt star as young, urban newlyweds trying to sustain their marital bliss while sidestepping the hurdles of love in the `90s in “Mad About You,” produced by TriStar Television.

Married for five months, Jamie (Hunt) and Paul Buchman (Reiser) struggle to establish the ground rules of their life together in a Manhattan apartment. But it`s not easy when both husband and wife are equally neurotic - in entirely different ways. Paul, a documentary filmmaker, is charming and creative, but also extremely cautious and analytical. Jamie, on the other hand, tends to be more of a free spirit. But as a public relations executive fighting her way up the corporate ladder, she has her own share of anxieties.

Sharing Jamie and Paul`s life, not to mention their laundry room, is Jamie`s luckless sister, Lisa Stemple (Anne Ramsay). Paul`s handsome bachelor buddy Jay Selby (Tommy Hinkley) also drops by to visit when he`s knocked off work early for the day, which is just about every day. And when they can`t think of some way to avoid them, the Buchman`s often play host to their close friends Dr. Mark Devanow (Richard Kind) and his wife Fran (Leila Kenzle).

With an intimate honesty that creator Reiser compares to “a couple`s car ride home after a party, when they can finally say what they`ve been thinking all night,” “Mad About You” explores the quirky little moments that all couples share. Adds creator/writer/producer Danny Jacobson, who, like Reiser, is a relative newlywed, “We want to hold the mirror up to married life, to see what the world is like behind closed doors.”

Paul Reiser and Danny Jacobson are the creators of “Mad About You.” Jacobson is executive producer with Reiser serving as producer. Barnet Kellman is co-executive producer/director, Jeffrey Lane, Pam Eells and Sally Lapiduss are supervising producers. Steve Paymer is co-producer and Marjorie Weitzman Biggs is coordinating producer.

The icing on the cake is the intriguing contest for the viewers where by answering a few simple questions from the episodes they can win really exciting prizes.

Although the program presents the recipes in the simplest of formats, rendering cooking most enjoyable, the episodes have an innovative theme like Amritsari special, Men Can Cook, Indo Italian cuisine, Hyderabadi special to name a few making Zee TVs Khana Khazana a must watch for all.

Aaj Tak, India Today Group’s foray into the audiovisual media, began in 1988 with Newstrack, a video newsmagazine that shook up the establishment. By 1995, TV Today Network had evolved to produce one of the most influential current affairs programmes, Aaj Tak.

Telecast on the terrestrial network, it enjoyed a strong nationwide viewership. The series consists of hard-core police procedural stories dealing with investigation, detection and suspense. The protagonists of the serial are an elite group of police officers belonging to the Crime Investigation Department of the police force, led by ACP Pradyuman (played by the dynamic Shivaji Satam). While the stories are plausible, there is an emphasis on dramatic plotting and technical complexities faced by the police.
